About

Hi, I'm Vincent.

Hi, my name is Vincent Yasay.

I'm a certificated Litigation Paralegal based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have about 5 years of combined law firm and in-house experience and my California Notary Public commission.

Since 2006, my website has had a number of iterations beginning from when I was an aspiring front-end stack web developer and photography hobbyist. However, I've since shifted my focus to pursing a legal career.

I was recently at Instacart where I assisted the legal team across a diverse range of regulatory and litigation matters, including pre-litigation disputes, litigation, administrative agency claims, and subpoena compliance.

Before Instacart, I was a litigation paralegal specializing in employment law. I have additional experience in personal injury, consumer insurance, real estate and landlord/tenant law. I provided law firms with litigation support from case inception to resolution, including client intake and management, factual investigations, legal research, document management, discovery, and trial preparation for cases in California state and federal district courts.

I obtained my Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Cal State East Bay's American Bar Association approved program and I am compliant with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450, et seq. Further, I earned my degree in Sociology from Sacramento State and completed coursework in Data Analytics at General Assembly with an emphasis on Excel, SQL, and Tableau.

I've held memberships, and board positions, with industry associations including the San Francisco Paralegal Association (SFPA), California Alliance of Paralegal Associations (CAPA), and the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF).

Outside of the office, I offer early career advice and mentoring to individuals pursuing a paralegal career in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm also an avid photography enthusiast, proponent of minimalist design, and admirer of clean data. On my free time, I enjoy reading about design trends, career planning, professional development, and lifelong learning. Otherwise, I'm seeking my next cup of coffee.
